A caregiver was not aware of the number of children in their care. The caregiver stated there were 18 children in the group including a small group who went to the restroom. A total of 21 children were observed including 10 children who were escorted to the restroom. The caregiver was asked to count again to verify the number of children in their care. The caregiver then counted and stated there were 10 children in their care and remainder went to the restroom giving the group a total of 18. The caregiver was informed they were still incorrect and that there were 11 children in their care, in addition to the group who went to the restroom. The caregiver was informed that there was a total of 21 children in the group.

The caregiver was not aware of the number of children in their care. They ststed there were 16 children present. The group was counted by Child Care Regulation (CCR) multiple times and 21 children were observed to be present.

Based on the information obtained during the investigation, there is sufficient information to support two caregivers inappropriately grabbed a child having a tantrum by the wrist and shoulders in an attempt to restrain them.

During the course of the investigation, information obtained indicated that caregivers at the operation use a disciplinary practice in which all children are required to sit down, place their heads down, and have the classroom lights turned off when one child is misbehaving.

Based on the information obtained during the investigation, there is sufficient information to support a caregiver failed to use good judgement when they yelled and use profane language in the presence of children.

Operation does not have a current fire marshal inspection.
